In Iran, we can think of translation movement in three different eras. The first movement happened in Sasanian era, especially after the foundation of Jundishapour. According to the existing resources, translations in that era did not include history books. The second movement blossomed at the end of second century, after the foundation of Bait al –Hikmah (House of Wisdom).In this era, under the influence of Greek Philosophy, translation of history books was not also taken into consideration, and only after the development and expansion of  relations between Iran and European  countries in Safavid era, the need for translation became evident again. However, the third movement started during Qajarieh , after Russia defeated Iran, and foreign military and scientific boards entered the country. In this research, the factors which encouraged writers and translators in Qajar era to translate history books and its effects  on attracting and bringing together researchers and the readers in this field has been studied. The results showed that the wars between Iran and Russia initiated the first translations of history texts. Establishment of Dar- al- Fonoun (house of science), Dar-al-Tarjama (Translation House), orientology tendency, and archeology discoveries in Iran helped the translation of history texts and focusing on this kind of translation to reach to its highest point so far. Furthermore, translation of history books resulted in changing the method of historiography, taking into consideration the history of ancient Iran, and introducing revolutionary thoughts to Iranians.}, keywords = {Keywords: translation of history texts,Qajar era,Dar- al-Fonoun}, title_fa = {علل گرایش به ترجمۀ کتاب‌های تاریخی در عصر قاجار (با نگاهی به جریان‌های عمدۀ ترجمه در ایران)}, abstract_fa = {سابقة ترجمه در ایران، به روزگار هخامنشیان می‌رسد که کتیبه‌ها را به زبان‌های دیگر می‌نوشتند. در ایران، سه دوره به داشتن نهضت ترجمه شهرت دارد: نخستین نهضت ترجمه در روزگار ساسانیان، به‌ویژه با تأسیس جندی شاپور، شکل گرفت. طبق منابع موجود، ترجمه‌های این دوره، کتب تاریخی را شامل نمی‌شده است. دومین نهضت، در اواخر سدة دوم، با تأسیس بیت‌الحکمه، به نهایت شکوفایی خود رسید.[1] در این دوره نیز با تأسی از حکمت و فلسفة یونانی، به ترجمة متون تاریخی توجهی نشد؛ تا اینکه به‌دنبال گسترش روابط ایران با کشورهای اروپایی، از دورة صفویه به بعد، نیاز به ترجمه بار دیگر ضرورت پیدا کرد. ولی در دورة قاجار بود که سومین نهضت ترجمه درپی شکست‌های ایران از روسیه، با ورود هیئت‌های نظامی و علمی خارجی در ایران، آغاز شد.در این پژوهش، عوامل تأثیرگذار در توجه نویسندگان و مترجمان عصر قاجار به ترجمة کتب تاریخی و میزان تأثیرگذاری این امر در جذب و نزدیک‌سازی محققان و مخاطبان این حوزه مورد بررسی قرار گرفته است. نتیجۀ این مقاله ناظر بر این است که جنگ‌های ایران و روسیه، ترجمة اولین متون تاریخی را باعث شد. تأسیس دارالفنون، دارالترجمه، جریان شرق‌شناسی و کشفیات باستانی در ایران، ترجمة متون تاریخی و توجه به آن را به اوج شکوفایی تا آن زمان رساند؛ ضمن آنکه ترجمة کتاب‌های تاریخی، به تغییر متد تاریخ‌نویسی، توجه به تاریخ ایران باستان و آشنایی ایرانیان با افکار انقلابی منجرشد.  }, keywords_fa = {کلیدواژه‌ها: ترجمة کتب تاریخی,دورة قاجار,دارالفنون}, url = {https://criticalstudy.ihcs.ac.ir/article_365.html}, eprint = {https://criticalstudy.ihcs.ac.ir/article_365_c7c79d1ed959f73ef548302903cd3b82.pdf} }
