Journal Article 2020 09 09 An introduction to research in family sociology in Iran has been written by Abbas Abdi with the aim of studying the evolution of the family and emphasizing the research dimension of the family. The purpose of this article is to examine the various dimensions of this book with a critical approach that is based on the conventional pattern of critical essays. The findings of the present article show that the criticisms of the book are in informal, structural and content areas, the most important of which include the lack of objective examples of claims and theories, lack of up-to-date sources, poor demographic analysis and lack of focus on topics such as the Ethics roots of the family and so on. Accordingly, this article, focusing on the formal and content dimensions of the work and relying on research citations, has tried to add to the richness of the book’s topics. کتاب <em>مقدمه ای بر پژوهش در جامعه شناسی خانواده</em> در ایران با هدف مطالعه سیر تحولات خانواده و تاکید بر بعد پژوهشی خانواده، توسط عباس عبدی نگاشته شده است. هدف از این  مقاله، بررسی ابعاد مختلف این کتاب با رویکردی انتقادی است که براساس الگوی مرسوم مقالات انتقادی، نگاشته شده است. یافته های مقاله حاضر نشان می­دهد که نقدهای وارده بر کتاب در حوزه های شکلی، ساختاری و محتوایی قرار دارد که مهمترین آنها شامل ضعف مصادیق عینی ادعاها و تئوری ها، عدم منابع روزآمد، تحلیل های جمعیتی ضعیف و عدم  تمرکز بر مباحثی همچون ریشه های قومیتی خانواده و غیره است. براین اساس این مقاله با تمرکز بر ابعاد صوری و محتوایی اثر و با اتکا به استنادات پژوهشی، تلاش نموده تا بر غنای مباحث کتاب بیفزاید. https://criticalstudy.ihcs.ac.ir/article_6137_398fde1a2e86c3d5d1c680caf8c04f96.pdf
