“The Critical Studies in Texts and Programs of Human Sciences” which is published monthly has been included in the list of core publications of the Islamic World Science Citation Database (ISC) for 7 consecutive years. This database categorizes publications into three types of initial list publications, waiting list publications, and core publications, which are as follows:

The initial list includes publications that are available in all databases of the reference database in Persian, English, Arabic, and French languages. After submitting the indexing request, the publications are initially evaluated in the citation database of Islamic World Sciences. Publications that get the necessary points are indexed in the list of primary publications. In addition, the publications in the list of primary publications are periodically evaluated and if they get the necessary points, they are transferred to the waiting list, and the publications that do not get the minimum requirements are removed from all databases of the citation database. The primary evaluation criteria for entering the list of primary publications of the citation database are: scientific credibility, publisher credibility, geographical distribution of authors, geographical distribution of editorial board members, citation and bibliographic information, regular publication, adherence to the policy and subject areas of the journal, the refereeing process, the citation rate of the editorial board, and online access to the contents of the journal.

The list of core publications includes a collection of top journals in various subject areas, which have been subjected to detailed content analysis by a group of experts in related fields. The criteria used in this evaluation guarantee the high quality of the publications in terms of their scientific content. Indicators such as up-to-dateness of research topics, applicability of findings, readability and scientific quality, accurate methodology, comprehensible presentation of data, logical discussion, accurate reasoning, and method of conclusion are all considered in the selection of core publications.
