Abstract
Creatin of completed book about modern Arabic poetry is very difficult because of its geographical and historical extent. Therefore every book has written in this connection has some deficiency. The “Trends and Movements in Modern Arabic poetry” by Salma Khadra Jayyusi has the historical and critical trend and geographical divisin for modern Arabic poetry presentation and for this book compilation. This matter caused to a kind of confusion and interference of subjects. Believing as true we can rekone this book as an “Encyclopedia” that has several information about its subjects. Then it can be a suitable refrence for researchers.
