Abstract
This paper tries to analyze and criticize “Diplomacy Lessons” written by john Brady Kiesling. The book can be considered as a diary of an unsatisfied American Diplomat how resigned after the violent American-led invasion of Iraq. In fifteen chapters, Kiesling tried to study different aspects of the foreign policy issues, criticizing American foreign policy especially in the Bush terms. Despite the fact that the writers experiences makes the book a first handed reference for researchers and the clear and narrative style of the writer is an advantage, but his sever devotion to idealism which is widely criticized in theory and practice along with lack of conceptual and theoretical backgrounds can be considered the main disadvantages of this book.
