Given that the book The History of Iranian Studies in Russia is one of the most recent works in the field of Iranian studies in Russia, the author was expected to critique the achievements of Russian Iranologists with an analytical approach; especially for the fact that, during the communist era, the Russians attached special importance to Iranian studies in line with the plans and policies of the ruling Soviet party. Because in the Soviet period, Iranian studies were based on the course of historical one-line theory and the proof of historical determinism. These works had a great impact on the intellectual, political, and social atmosphere of Iran in recent decades. As a result, the critique of the Russians' record in this field could have opened new perspectives in the field of Iranian studies (Iranology), while the book under review provides a brief and hasty record of the trend of Iranology in the three-hundred-year history of this science in Russia. One of the most important reasons for the dispersion of the book’s contents was to choose a general title for the present study. So, the indicators studied by the author cover a wide range of topics and contents in the field of Iranian studies in Russia. The indicators studied in the present book should be included in the scope of encyclopedia research. The present article tries to critique and analyze the topics and indicators of the present book by the method of content analysis and scientific critique.

In this article, while examining Chekhov's latest story entitled The Lady Bride, the author's views on the issue of women in the last stages of her literary development are examined. To understand Chekhov in this regard, one must be aware of the historical context in which the work was created. Also, while examining the story, the symbolism of the name of the work and the name of its hero, the special fate of the hero and the reason for the open end of the story have been examined. Chekhov created the story at a time when Russia was undergoing rapid changes and it was time to open new doors to the future, but there was still no clear vision for the future, yet the author hoped for a young force and its impact on the country's destiny. And this issue is quite visible in his latest work. The present study answers the question of who is Chekhov's ideal female heroine. Chekhov's ideal female protagonist was different from other Russian writers. If at the beginning of the nineteenth century, Decembrist women who went into exile with their husbands were considered the ideal women of Russia, in the late nineteenth century, women who were able to determine their own destiny were the ideal women of society.

The purpose of the present study is to show the influence of Iranian culture and literature on another territory. Russian futurist, Vlimir Khelebnikov (1922-1884), was one of those poets who greatly influenced Iranian culture and literature. He was one of the Russian poets who had the chance to be present in Iran and came to Gilan during the uprising of Mirza Kochak Khan along with the Red Army forces in Gilan and was able to get acquainted with Iran. Orientalism is one of the most prominent aspects of his poetry, in which we will only examine the themes of his six-volume collection of poems in the present study. The re-creation of Iranian themes with new manifestations in his poetry has rendered Khelebnikov’s poetry beautiful and exquisite. Although Iran’s influence on him is not limited to literary and mythical aspects of Iran and beyond, it can be examined in cultural, religious, historical, and biological and natural dimensions, But Iranian scholars have paid little attention to his work. An examination of Khelebnikov’s poetry reveals his love for Hakim Ganjeh and reflects on his military poems as well as Shahnameh’s myths.
