The book "Topics in Advanced Organizational Behavior Management" is authored by Dr. Gholamreza Malekzadeh, a respected member of the Faculty of Management, Faculty of Administrative and Economic Sciences, Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. This book, which is the second edition was printed and bound by Esfand Publishing House and Printing Affairs of Ferdowsi University of Mashhad. The purpose of this article is to review and criticize the book on advanced organizational behavior management. The method of evaluating and criticizing this work is documentary-analytical and in accordance with the proposed model of the Council for the Review of Texts and Books of Human Sciences in the framework of the general introduction, examining the form and content of the work. The most important part of the review of any book is its content evaluation. From this point of view, examining the strengths of this book, it is possible to mention that the learning objectives provide a summary and questions for self-examination at the beginning and end of the chapters, use the model in practice, and analyze the topics of organizational behavior management. Presenting related materials and practical questions in line with discussion and consensus in the class, closing the gaps in the discussed theoretical topics by referring to the real events in the environment of organizations, and using logical order in the order of placement of the researched items are all among the positive points of the book. Pointing out the weaknesses, the non-compliance and coverage of the presented headings with the headings approved by the Ministry of Science, neglecting the use of the list of figures, diagrams, and tables, the lack of a list of terms and keywords (glossary), the non-use of up-to-date Persian and Latin sources and the lack of mentioning some of the sources inside the text in the list of sources can be enumerated. In the end, it can be said that by adding new topics and new sources, fixing editing and writing points, and mentioning the excavations of Iranian organizations, we can add value to the richness of this book.

One of the serious harms of management education in Iran is the weakness of the content of textbooks and the lack of attention to the practical dimension and skill-building in writing them. The purpose of this article is to review and compare management textbooks in the field of organizational behavior at home and abroad. After reviewing various books on organizational behavior that are taught in management schools in the country and abroad, four common textbook titles , two domestic book titles from SAMT Publication and two foreign book titles from McGrawHill Higher Education Publication were selected. Then by using the comparative case study method, the similarity and difference of these four books were analyzed and compared based on appearance and content indicators. The research findings show that the two domestic textbooks are mainly written with a theoretical approach and their content is not up to date, while the two foreign textbooks are compiled with a practical and skill-building approach and have flexible, up-to-date and integrated content. Then, the content of one of these books (as a benchmark) was examined in more detail. Finally, a framework for compiling and reviewing management textbooks in Iran was presented.

Organizational Behavioral Theories are a major part of organizational studies because behavioral reasoning is found in a wide range of theoretical approaches. Behavioral theory begins with the organization's classical theories and ends with the company's main behavioral theory and then with evolutionary theory, organizational ecology, institutional theory, and transaction cost theory. The purpose of the present article is to review the book “Behavioral Theories of the Organization” written by Seyed Ali Akbar Afjeh. The author has tried to adapt the theories of the individual, the group and the organization to the behavioral sciences in Islamic management, and to apply them. He has also added Japanese and scientific management styles. By compiling his collection of studies in the form of a volume, the author believes that this work is a useful guide in the field of theory of behavior and behavioral theories in the organization. The text of the book is relatively fluent. A look at the structure of this work shows that the author has compiled this book without observing a specific scientific methodology. A clear definition of the organization's behavioral theories is not provided, and the introduction of the "school" in this work as a "method" confuses the reader in understanding the author's intent. It seems that the author seeks to the Islamize foundations of management, which has not been successful in this regard either.
