Due to the importance of scientific and literary criticism in identifying the strengths and weaknesses of various writings, it may be argued that the value of the critique of works is not valuable than the works themselves. Therefore, the current study intends to study the book entitled Stylistic structures a Study in Modern Arabic Poetry by Kamaj Abde Al-rrazzagh Al- ojaili. Besides, the statistical community is very large that prevents accurate and in-depth analysis. Though we should not be distracted that the book has a lot of merits including reviewing and analyzing the views of others, innovation to adapt a new perspective on poetic texts, providing precise definition of the terms of the research, avoiding the expression of external and non-related topics, avoiding repeating the material, and providing precise references, relevant documentation, and resources.

Ziya’ Ghâsemi claims in his book, Sabk-e Adabi Az Didghâh-e Zabânŝenâsi, that he has presented an analytic pattern based on linguistics, especially generative grammar, to analyze literary text’s style. This essay evaluates the book and its writer’s claims through criticizing the book’s form and content. Based on this book, this article attempts to show not only this book does not present a new point of view and method, but also it merely addresses some abstract examples like previous stylistics handbooks in Farsi. The book cannot be counted as a progress in literary and stylistic studies in any way because of its out of date references, ignoring new approaches in stylistics, repetition of other handbook’s defects, shallow knowledge about Persian literature, and misunderstandings of some literary terms.

The two stylistics books of Shamisa and Gholam-Rezaie are the sources which have divided the Persian poetry styles with aperiodic (historical/geographical) perspective. These two works, despite some major drawbacks, have been the source of teaching and reference for many years. The lack of critical and specialized review on these two works, caused them to be reprinted repeatedly with a little change. This research aims at investigating and analyzing the existing information in these books about Arrani style (Azarbaijani), in order to correct some non-scientific propositions which have been accepted for many years and are transferred from one research to another. In the same vein, after a quick look at the background of Persian poetry classification and reference to some existing conflicts about the Sixth century poetry and the Arrani (Azarbaijanian) style, we will discuss the stylistics criticism of Shamisa, and then the stylistics criticism of Gholam-Rezaie.

By writing several books during three decades, Mohammad Taghi Ghiasi can be said to stand among those who have tried to make the Persian speaking community acquainted with the French New Criticism. He has thus had an undeniable role in creating the Iranians’ first reception of this movement, particularly, in the context of universities. In so doing, he has introduced himself a translator, a researcher, and even a writer although in most of his books, he is no more than a translator of works of French authors. The present study is on the belief that the quality of Ghiasi’s work in this domain has been progressively declining. This falling trend has gone so far that he has sometimes provided his audience with an incorrect, vague, and even misleading image of some new movements in criticism. The origin of such distorted image of literary criticism can be found in his lack of loyalty in translating French texts and in introducing fundamental changes in them. The Persian speaking reader also faces texts which have little similarity with Ghiasi’s so-called books and the introductions he has written to them.

Historical and literary texts pass various stages from the moment of collecting manuscripts to publishing. In this process, the most important and influential step is a textual criticism. In this critique, first, the manuscripts are evaluated. This evaluation is the basic foundation of textual criticism, if scientific and accurate methods are taken into account, , the results will be presented more accurately and reliably. In this article, the criteria to evaluate the reliability of Persian manuscripts have been recognized, and according to scribes, corroborants, date of calligraphy, genealogy, and stylistics have been divided into five main groups, and each one of these criteria has been studied, recognized, and reviewed. After reviewing the criteria, it has been shown that none of these criteria can be the only criterion toevaluate the reliability, and the best way for evaluating the manuscripts is using a combination of two or more criteria based on the quantity and quality of manuscripts.

Abstract: Rhetorical Studies in Arabic literature have been developed by Holly Quran, aftermorphological and syntactic Studies in the Muslim world. Many Muslim scholars believe that the value of this rhetorical query is not less than syntactic studies for understanding the Qur'anic points. By this point of view they offered many studies in this field. But some big shortcomings like their focos on sintacs of the sentence mad western scholars to begin some niew ways in rhetorics studies by focosing on the field of text instead of sentence, which had switched to stablishing stylistics studies. The big question now is searchig for any relationship between clacical rhethorics and modern stylistics. In this study we have a look on the book of Professor Saad Maslooh to know if he had succed in this relationship.
