Abstract
Teaching Arabic for specific purposes is one of its main challenges in Teaching Arabic Language in Iran. “Teaching Arabic Language” coauthored by Faramarz Mirzaei and Ali Nazari is a textbook developed for teaching Arabic to the students of Law. The close interconnection of some areas of the field of Law with Arabic Language and the lack of diverse textbooks in this area have doubled the need for writing such works. In this article, the form and content of the book have been analyzed. In the form analysis, the book cover, typography, page layout, bookbinding, punctuations, and typing errors were examined. The content analysis bases on the conformation of contents with title, the logical order of the chapters and their discussions, the critique of the scientific content, the adequacy and fluency of the script, and the referencing. The prominent advantages of the book include the compilation of plentiful legal examples and practices, and its new arrangement to some extent. Yet, it is required that the authors revise the existing form and content shortcomings in the next editions of the book.
