Abstract
One of the effective scientific and academic attempts is to review the works which are, in a way, compatible with academic courses and topics. Book review is a must for the dynamic scientific community, and is also a clear example of the effectiveness of literary criticism.
Such reviews reveal the capacities, strengths and weaknesses of a certain work and, thereby, refresh the scientific atmosphere. The present paper is a review of the second edition of the book Metamorphosis in Myth by Dr. Mansour Rastgar Fasa’i, published by the Institute for Humanities and Cultural Studies Publication in 2009.
In the first section of the paper, the book is introduced, and some of its capacities and strengths are discussed. The second section deals with its weaknesses. Some suggestions are presented to improve the structure and content of the book and to enrich its approaches, presumptions and discussions.
