The book "Hope on the Threshold: An Anthropological Analysis of the Three Pilgrimages of Santiago de Compostela, Hajj and Arbaeen" by Mohammad Nasravi (1399) is one of the few works that tried to propose the idea of utopia and its related concepts and meanings, emphasizing the views of thinkers such as Weber, Foucault, and most of all, Ernst Bloch, and analyzed the three pilgrimages mentioned in the title of the book with anthropological studies, from a utopian point of view. The idea of utopia, as Bloch emphasizes, is based on the concept of Not-yet being, which seeks to contrast the realm of utopia "infinity" with the present "infinite" universe. Mr. Nasravi has investigated this concept with the meaning of the mentioned pilgrimages and in the analysis of Arbaeen, which is equivalent to Imam Masoom. In this article, with the comparative method, after presenting formal criticisms, in terms of content in the criticism of Bloch's idea, relying on the transcendent philosophy and its well-known principles such as the authenticity of existence, gradation of existence, and substantial movement, we deal with the idea that the infinite realm is not against reality and existence, but it’s the same. In conclusion, the risks of the monopoly of existence to the sensory-empirical realm for considering pilgrimage as a utopian state are pointed out, which leads to the neglect of its many aspects, including morality, cognition and knowledge, sharing existence and reality, regularity, and so on.

According to the historiographical theory that Harary had adopted in his previous work Homo Sapines, he pursues arguments in his new work Homo Deus, based on the theory of evolutionism, with the difference that the possibilities and opportunities that artificial evolution or human intervention in the process of evolution may have the largest share in shaping his futuristic ideas. This article seeks to explain the relationship between the necessities that the capitalist system faces in order to survive, with a critical approach and focusing on the two concepts of “Determinism” and “Totalitarianism”. The main idea of this article is that the Harary project lays the groundwork for a kind of totalitarian utopia of capitalism. Criticism of this issue has become necessary due to the political implications of the Harary project.

Among the works of Yevgeny Zamyatin, the novel “We” is of significant importance. The novel was authored in 1920, but was not published in the Soviet Union until the year 1988 due to its “anti-revolutionary” content. This article will first touch upon the topics discussed in the works of Zamyatin and will then provide the viewpoints of the author regarding the system of government in the Soviet Union after the October 1917 Revolution. In the novel “We”, Zamyatin provides a futuristic perspective of the Soviet Union thousands of years ahead and portrays the socio-political situation of the union in case the pledges made by the leaders and theoreticians of the Communist system are realized. The novel “We” by Zamyatin is a novel with a critical theme in which the author endeavors to bring to mind the impacts of submersion in materialistic affairs and failing to heed moral and human values. The image Zamyatin provides of the utopia drawn by the theoreticians of the Soviet system is one in which the people live an affluent lifestyle and enjoy equal welfare but are not prosperous in the absence of creativity and religious and human values. They feel confined by the world of materialism.
