The Order of Things: An Archeology of Human Sciences is the fifth and one of the most important works of Michel Foucault. The purpose of this article is to review and criticize the book. The research method in this article is "qualitative content analysis" and gathering information by documentary study . The Order of Things follows the archeological analysis of knowledge and the analysis of episteme, which examines it through the analysis of two important breaks in the episteme of Western culture in the three realms of language, natural sciences and economics. The book has been criticized both for its descriptive approach and for its negligence of causality and for its opposition to the mainstream thought of the time. Although Foucault turned to "genealogy" in his later works, he transformed and modified archeology and did not abandon it. The work was first translated from English to Farsi by Yahya Emami, and then from French by Fateme Valiani. Valiyani is more successful in translating into the target language and is more accurate in translating the equivalents, but some of her chosen words are not so well established in the Persian language compared to Emami. In addition to a critical view of the book, the article also criticizes the form and content of the translation.

In recent years, the topics of philosophy of humanities, philosophy of technology and the role of humanities and technology in the process of development have been widely welcomed. A philosophical discussion about the relation of science and technology, especially the relation of humanities, programs, and institutions as soft technologies, can assist in science and technology policymaking in human and social life. The book Humanities as Technology answers the fundamental question: “Can humanities be understood as technology and can this understanding be used in the policymaking of humanities and soft technologies?” The authors of this book elaborate on this discussion by conducting case studies in the field of information technology and jurisprudence, using the approach of critical rationality. In this article, after introducing the book, critical points are raised in relation to some of the main claims of the book; in particular, the view that jurisprudence should be understood as mere technology. In the end, suggestions for modifying and completing this book and turning it into a textbook are presented.

The purpose of this article is to critically evaluate the book Critical Review of the Book Contemporary Research Methods in the Humanities (Discussions on Politics of Method), by Ahmad Mohammadpour. The context for the formation of the most important theoretical and practical streams in the humanities and their ontological and epistemological aspects has been presented in this book. From this point of view, the book can be considered as a valuable document in this field. The main message of this book is that it is research methods derived from our worldviews and lifeworld that shape our understanding and interpretation of the world, and thus the author introduces a new concept called" Politics of Method ". The results of the review of this book show that the author has not been able to convey well the key and operational points about “Politics of Method " and his new findings; Therefore, this book is not able to provide guidelines for researchers in designing a research program from the perspective of methodology. Lack of connection between chapters, different language in presenting views and topics, inadequate translation of many parts of the book, are also among the weaknesses of this book.

The present study was conducted with the aim of the pathology of internship implementation in the field of law among undergraduates. This study adopted a mixed approach. In the qualitative section, interviews were conducted with 28 experts, faculty members, lawyers, and graduate students from the University of Isfahan. The statistical population of the quantitative section of this study was students in, and graduates of 2014-2017 in psychology, 115 of whom were selected by stratified random sampling method. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and researcher-made questionnaires. The results of the quantitative research showed that the most important obstacle in the successful implementation of the internship is the lack of attention of academic authorities to the practical courses and the lack of cooperation between the university and non-academic centers for conducting an internship course. Participants in the interview also emphasized that the internship courses are mostly ignored, and there are a large number of law students, hence the most important disadvantages of the internship. Educational planners can use the results of this study to improve the curriculum of other courses in humanities.

The purpose of the present study was to evaluate the performance of the Council for Reviewing Books and Text in the Developing the Culture of critique of texts and books of the humanities, based on upstream documents of the council. Therefore, the combination method was used. The statistical population included all experts and reviewed books in council as well as other institutions and publications in the 1390s. The samples of the study were: I) Almost all articles and critiques, II) 24 experts and practitioners, and III) 10 interviews published in the book of the Re-Reading Council that were selected by purposeful sampling method. A checklist and a questionnaire were used to collect the data. The data were analyzed by chi-square and binomial tests, and qualitative content analysis. The research findings indicated that the council had received an acceptable grade in five criteria of six criteria and had a positive performance. Of course, there were some shortcomings in each of these criteria. Thus, some suggestions were made to improve and enhance the status of the council. It is recommended to redefine the scope of its members and take advantage of the advancements in information and communication technologies to disseminate and inform about the activities of the council.

Although more than two decades have passed since the publication of the first edition of The Logical Relationship between Religion and Applied Sciences, this book is still one of the most coherent and accurate works, showing the position of this intellectual current. The author of the book has tried to show the position of the Academy of Islamic Sciences on these issues, considering the academic literature on topics such as science, technology, and development. So, this book was regarded for proper introduction and critique. In this article, we have shown that the author of the book does not have much control over the latest controversies in the field of science and religion studies - even in contemporary Iran. Today’s controversy, which has challenged European-Christian hegemony based on the study of science and religion, could open a new space for a different view of the relationship between religion, culture, and technology. Therefore, it is expected that the author will write the second edition of the book, considering the latest achievements of contemporary scientology and theology.

The theory of conventions is the basis of Islamic humanities, if it is viewed from a philosophical and holistic perspective and taken as part of existential discussions. In reality, humans are genuine and real beings that express their needs in this world through the language of conventions. Therefore, conventions are intertwined with anthropology and epistemology and act as the pillars of Islamic humanities. Propositions in the humanities including propositions in jurisdiction and law are conventions and do not necessitate proofs. What is important in these sciences is to attract benefits and dispose loss and gain perfection and prosperity, and in Islamic humanities the aim is to reach closeness to Allah. But, those who take jurisprudence and legal propositions as genuine have mixed genesis and decree since genuine relationships exist in areas where there is a relationship between cause and effect. In jurisprudence and legal issues, a law is validated through a judge and has no genesis, and religious or customary laws are taken from the validity of the judge or a legislator.

Humanities can be described as the study of different ways in which people all around the world, in different periods of time, process and document the human experience. The nature of human beings as multidimensional creatures urges the necessity of multidisciplinary concerns in humanities in which linguistics is included. In this article, after discussing the nature of language, linguistics, and humanities a short history of development of this field as a scientific study is presented. Reviewing of the college textbooks has an effective role in promoting the educationally defined goals and revising the teaching methods according to the needs of the audience and helps the textbooks to come closer to realizing the pre-set goals. College textbooks are particularly important due to their specific audience and as such demand great care in their writing process. Considering the need that some humanities disciplines have to the Arabic grammar books, reviewing such books is a great help in improving the teaching methods of Arabic grammar. Hence, the book "The usage Rules of Arabic Language" by Seyyed Fazlollah Mirghaderi and Zahra Riahi was chosen to be introduced to the audience and be reviewed for its deficiencies in terms of perspectives and writing errors. Thus, after an introduction on the Arabic grammar books, first the book is introduced and then the main features and shortcomings of it are elaborated on.
