Abstract Jām-e Arūs-e Khāvarī (‘The Oriental Bride's Chalice’), after “Negāhī be Donya-ye Khāqānī” (‘A Glance at Khaqani's World’) (1996-1999) in three volumes, “Bazm-e Dirineh-ye Arūs” (‘The Bride's Long-lasting Feast’) (1993) and “Basāt-e Qalandar” (2005), is the fourth work which is published by Masoomeh Ma’dankan in the field of studies on Khāqānī. This book enjoys merits and advantages over other Khāqānī’s educational annotations and excerpts, from among the most important of which one can point to the author's exemplary precision of observation and complete mastery over the subject. In this paper, in addition to examining the book, we introduce some points and discussions to supplement what has already been said in the book and briefly point out some of the author's errors. Moreover, in order to obtain a rather accurate understanding, we will try to offer some suggestions.
