Dependence of humanities and social studies and research on methodological patterns has become a requirement in the field of humanities. Various influential schools, beliefs, and thinkers in the field are studying and researching with this concern in mind. One of these methodological patterns is the qualitative interpretative method and hermeneutics method in particular. This method, which is divided into several kinds and types, has found many advocates and believers in social and humanities, and even religious and doctrinal, studies. In the intellectual-epistemic environment of Iran, too, some authors have proposed the application of this method in religious and theological studies, and, of course, have encountered many scientific-epistemic controversies and challenges in the course. In this paper, while explaining the evidence of philosophical hermeneutics, a critical view of this method will be presented. Philosophical hermeneutics has been criticized from two perspectives which include intra-hermeneutic and extra-hermeneutic criticism. Intra- hermeneutic criticism refers to the controversy set forth by some beliefs and individuals that support hermeneutics. Extra-hermeneutics criticism is the explanations of philosophical hermeneutics objections from the point of view of the currents and individuals who have evaluated this method outside the framework of hermeneutics.

According to the enormous number of philosophical translations into Persian we see nowadays, it is completely required to rethink the primarily requirement, a translator should have to translate a philosophical text, specially, when it comes to the translation of classical texts. Fulfilling this task, we have considered the translation of Gilles Deleuze’s Nietzsche and Philosophy by Leyla Kuchakmanesh as an instance to see the advantages and deficiencies it has comparing to the general remarks we already had in the introduction of the paper. As an overall evaluation, it could be said that the translation lacks many of general criteria a well translated classical text of philosophy must have. Finally, it should be noticed that the Persian translation is a translation of the English translation of the original French text made by Hugh Tomlinson.

This book is a report on some of the fundamental concepts of philosophy such as faith, revelation, God, self, transcendence and so on, from the view point of Anselm and Thomas Aquinas and other great scholars of medieval ages. The writer has mostly focused on historical roots of the phenomena and using perspectives of ancient Greek philosophers indicated how Christian scholars have applied these ideas to construct a strong rational foundation for religious teachings of Christianity. He not only does not consider the medieval ages to be an end to philosophical approaches but believes that their thoughts has brought about flourishing and nurturing of intellectual and philosophical streams of Renaissance, just like the way ancient Greek philosophers have impacted upon medieval ages. He utterly supports efficacy of studying and contemplation of philosophy of medieval ages.
