Starting work and Employment which are correlative and interdependent are key subjects and important chapters of employment law. Although there have been some changes, reforms, and innovations regarding the issue in “Civil Service Management Act”, there are still some obscurities and insufficiencies. Introducing general principles of starting work, especially emphasizing on the principle of efficiency and being qualified, principle of equal opportunity, and clarifying and removing obscurities and insufficiencies are some of the positive changes related to starting work principle comparing to the previous version. Presenting new employment policy while emphasizing on permanent employment criterion for governmental positions, determining the conditions and requirements of different types of employment and employing human resources in administrative organizations, and decreasing the negative consequences of permanent employment, are some of the innovations and positive changes of the above said act. If some of the weak points and ambiguities in predicted regulations and rules are revised, a big change will surely occur in the employment system of Iran. However, obscurities and abridgments of the law, and especially not determining the status of previous rules has made the efforts of law makers open to criticisms.

Abstract Explanation of virtues and immoralities in Islam has been always one of concerns of author‘s Islamic Ethics books but we, for achievement reasonable explanation, should try to carry out this subject with explaining and analyzing of “moral system”. Otherwise we can’t claim that Islamic doctrine have followed coordinated and systematic program for getting special goals in offering a wide array of ethical divine rules. Therefore primary concern of this paper lay the difference between the approach of "explaining" of moral virtues and approach to “systematically analyze”. It is the main concern of the author in the course of study in academic book titled Islamic ethics. After a general introduction of "Islamic Ethics: Principles and Concepts" in terms of form and content, with the goal of reviewing work, we evaluate its strengths and weaknesses. We, after concluding, finally provide our proposals for its completion.

By focusing on the contemporary Arab discourse, the present paper argues that the Arab unity in the form of a united territorial and political entity has been the central Arab discourse in the last one a half century. International and domestic developments, however, have made such ideal a difficult one to be realized. Moreover, the internal socio-political and economic difficulties in the last century brought about a state of confusion and multiplicity for the Arab discourse. On the other hand, the post-Cold war situations and the outcome of the weakness of Arab nationalist discourse, led to the emergence of two secular and fundamentalist discourses around which all Arab social and political forces have gathered. Taking the Kamal Abdul Latif and Mohammad Aref's The Challenges of the Contemporary Arab Discourse as a case study, the author has explained how such vagueness and multiplicities has encompassed the contemporary Arab discourse.

The present article introduces the book Mysticism and Logic, derived from Bertrand Russell's articles and has a brief review. After generally introducing the work, the author focuses on its advantages and disadvantages in two dimensions, namely, form and content, and then emphasizes on the article "Mysticism and Logic" among the articles. In this paper, Russell addresses the practice of mysticism in the point of view of four problems. These four problems include: 1. Acknowledgment of two different tendencies in man to know the world, namely, mysticism and science; 2. The prominent philosophers’ attempt to harmonize these two needs; The four characteristics of mystical philosophy, i.e. belief in insight against reasoning knowledge, the belief in unity and the denial of plurality and contradiction, denial of realism of time and the considering evil an illusion; and 4. The mistake of mysticism in each of these four aspects. We will analyze these topics by raising them in the present article; Russell's empirical perspective made him to analyze mysticism from this point of view, and therefore, if he believes in mysticism, he turns to logical mysticism.

In recent decades, lots of introductory books were written on the subject of Ethics and Morality in English and in other languages as well. These books help students get familiarized with this subject, but most of them are not comprehensive, and they only focus on some issues, especially normative ethics, and on some issues in Applied Ethics. The shortage of good textbook in the philosophy of Ethics and Morality is much more obvious in Persian, and there is no comprehensive book available in the subject that satisfies the academic criteria. One of the introductory books, but comprehensive, is “Ethics: An Introduction to Moral Philosophy” compiled by Noel Stewart. In this book, the main fields of ethics (metaethics, normative ethics, and applied ethics) are discussed. The unique and conspicuous features of this book is its cohesion, comprehensiveness in arguments and discussions, critically assessment of arguments, brevity and clearness. So, it is a comprehensive and cohesive textbook for researchers to use in the field of moral philosophy. In this paper, having introduced the content of the book in detail, the advantages and disadvantages of the book will be studied technically and by content analysis.

Using the descriptive-critical method and emphasizing the concept of language-culture education, in this paper, we have tried to find only two books from the series of French-language textbooks of education, namely French textbooks for the first and second year of middle school. The realization of the goals and needs of French language teaching should be reviewed. In this research, we examined the place of teaching culture and mother tongue (origin) and foreign language (destination) in these two books. The educational approach of these books is a semi-audio-visual approach, and due to scientific advances in the field of foreign language teaching, these educational books have not been able to keep pace with current knowledge and in line with today’s needs of teaching / learning French. Intercultural skills training is one of the important functions of the educational system. The aim of this study was to describe and critically analyze the content of French books in the seventh and eighth years of Intermediate 1 in terms of addressing the categories of language and culture education and interculturalism. There is still a fundamental weakness in the teaching of destination culture and interculturalism, and there is a need for greater coherence between the teaching of culture and mother tongue with the teaching of intercultural components.

Revitalization plays an important role in protecting the historical buildings, which simultaneously protects the culture and the body. This approach has played an important economic role. Today, many revitalization projects, regardless of the importance of cultural factors and with a purely economic perspective, have caused numerous damages in historical contexts. Therefore, by regulating the principles of revitalization, new use can be assigned to the monument. Reviewing the strengths and weaknesses of these plans can be effective. This underscores the importance of the critique of revitalization projects and how to intervene in them. In addition to cultural and economic returns, principled restoration is also an effective approach to encourage people to participate and invest in the restoration of historic collections. Historic houses are the most remnants of Iran's architectural heritage, the multiplicity and diversity of that in historical contexts provide good potential as urban catalysts. This research has been done by reviewing documents, field studies, and libraries and by the qualitative research method. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effective features in reviving one of the historical houses of Kashan city called "Manouchehri House" which is considered as a case study in this regard due to being a candidate for the Aga-Khan-Award and cultural economic prosperity provided by a tourist-accommodation.

In Arabic Syntax, a ‘Sentence-like structure’ Phrase refers to a time or place adverbs, or noun complements. This concept and its form necessitates a brief look at concepts such as sentence, discourse, predication, combinations, composites, role of similitude in Arabic syntax. Since time and place adverbs, and noun complements are instances of combinations, and because they are made up of either two nouns, as in “end-dak”, or a noun and a proposition, as in ‘fed daar’;and since the propositional component as well as the adverbial component are not qualified to act as a subject or a predicate; and since they don’t bear any predication, but only a superficial similarity exists between their structure and a sentence; only similarity between them and a sentence is the link between their two components; and since they are not singular and they are similar to a sentence; and since there is no predication, therefore, they are not sentences. In other words, they are sentence-like structures. Moreover, because a phrase has no predication, it may accept a variety of features; it can be linked to whole or partial predicative combinations. As such as, it can have predication, and on this basis, it sometimes appears in the beginning, as in ‘Robba rajolen ghaem’, and sometimes as a predicate, as in ‘Zayd fed-daar’. Furthermore, since a sentence-like structure doesn’t bear any semantic and conceptual independence, it needs a word to provide meaning. Therefore, a need for the belonging, the belonged and the belonging-to is felt; and the stronger the belonged entity, more stable, more feasible, and more powerful the meaning will be. So, the first level of belonging and the best and highest aspect thereof is considered to be the belonging to a verb and verb-like form. However, experts in syntax believe that if the belonged is a common masculine, or a proper masculine or a released verb, then, the time or place adverb is an unlimited adverb; and if the belonged is a released common verb, the adverb is a limited adverb. When dealing with a limited adverb, the corresponding meaning bears an appropriate position and independence, it may be accessible through the concept of combination. In case of adverb, there is no semantic independence, therefore, it should be given meaning by considering the belonged and the belonging-to.

Curriculum planning is one of the specialized courses in educational sciences; however, there is unfortunately a lack of resources in this field. Most of the existing books in the field of curriculum planning cannot be introduced to students as useful resources for their university courses. The reason is their huge volume, abstrusity, or a lack of compatibility with thecourse descriptions approved by the Supreme Council for Planning. In the present paper, the book “Principles of Curriculum Planning” by Mohammad Hossein Yarmohammadian is briefly introduced, and then reviewed from two perspectives of form and content.

The aim of the present study was a review of “Conceptual Creative Realism” as a methodological model of Islamic science (Iman & Kelateh Sadati, 1392). The model had some strong points including a new presentation of science structure as well as a new definition congruent with the Islamic point of view entered in a new paradigm. Besides, the model defined hierarchy of knowledge in different ways where the God’s laws would be at the top of this hierarchy. Reality is further up observations and objective experiences as well as the correct criterion defined according to Islamic direction. o On the contrary, the model had some drawbacks including speaking in general, not specified, and missing links between the different concepts, as well as having ambiguity responding how we can specify the borders between different knowledge sources such as sensation experiences, wisdom, and intuition. In sum, the evaluated model seems to be an effective model which contributes to the Islamic science.

The book "Archeology of Ancient Iranian societies in the Third Millennium B.C” is one of the specialized books about the third millennium archeology of the Iranian plateau with a special look into the southeastern region of Iran. This book is written by "Enrico Ascalone", translated by "Seyed Mansour Seyed Sajadi" and published by the Organization for Researching and Composing University Textbooks in the Humanities with the aim of being lectured as the main or supplementary source for the course-"Iranian Archaeology at the Beginning of Urbanization". What is mentioned in the introduction of the book by the author is the identification of the cultural poles of Iran's plateau during the third millennium B.C, the degree of repulsion and attraction between those poles, and then the study of the special fields of trade. In this regard, the analysis of the business systems with Susa centrality-as an Elamite unit-was his aim. The present paper tries to study and analyze the book in terms of its form and content-especially formal comprehensiveness, logical order and principles-according to the author's approach, which is of analytical approaches to urban archeology and finally its strengths and weaknesses are explained. The results indicate many merits in terms of content and respect for the authoring principles of an impartial work. On the other hand, the book has weaknesses in translation, editing and matching of specialized terminology, the use of archaeological resources, and archaeological fundamentals of the peripheral regions of Iranian Plateau.

The two terms "fair trial" and "statecraft and the principles of justice" were taken in the same sense and have been used interchangeably. No one should be deprived of his life, liberty, and property without a fair trial. "Fair trials" sometimes mean protections that derive from procedural legal rules, and sometimes they mean protections that result from substantive legal rules, such as rules related to fundamental rights and freedoms. The principles and standards of fair trial, which are set out in international human rights documentation, have addressed the conditions and requirements of national courts and judicial processes. On the other hand, the intrinsic components of a fair trial fall into three categories: 1. Structural and institutional guarantees such as independence and impartiality; 2. Principles and rules that should govern each stage of the judicial process and guide the entire process in a way that results in a fair outcome; 3. Elements and components of a fair trial, which in a limited sense, are considered as legal rights and include: freedom from something (immunity) like the right to non-arbitrary arrest or enjoying something like the right to have a lawyer. In this article, while attempting to enumerate the factors governing the principles of fair trial, a critical and comparative study has been undertaken in both domestic and international domains.

The Public Choice School in Economics can be considered as the application of economic analysis in the field of politics, which is just recently opening its way to the country's academic circles. The most important finding of this school is to prove the failure of the government in the market regulation (the absence of a benevolent hand in government). The book [Understanding] Democracy - An Introduction to Public Choice by Patrick Gunning (2003), translated by Hossein Rabiei in 2014, has been marketed by the Economics World Publications. This simple and somewhat comprehensive book addresses both fundamental issues of public choice, such as constitutional economics, and the practical topics of public choice, such as privatization. The main conclusion of the book is that in democratic-based political mechanisms, not only does the government (without arranging institutional setting) fail to solve the market problems, but also these failures are more severe than the market failures. Although not well known in English, this book has an acceptable status among the few Persian books in the field of public choice, which might be the reason beyond the two different translations of the book. However, the current translation has many drawbacks, and its revision and edition are required for next editions.

Using a series of criteria, literary criticism is concerned with the study of literary works from the start explaining the works, their elements and concepts, and clarifying their weaknesses and strengths; ultimately, it helps to improve the quality of the work. These attempts of division of critical theories under literary doctrines can be considered as good examples, and the book "Approach of Realism in Literary Creativity" by Salah Fadl fits the critique in this model. This research attempts to answer a fundamental dilemma: To what extent did this book succeed in completing the explanation of status and criticism of the realist doctrine? The analytical methodological method shows that the book has had great success in explaining the reality theories, whether in form or content, although there are some shortcomings such as the lack of concrete and tangible evidence in the literary texts.

Afif Al-bahanssi’s “Islamic Art” is from the few books in this field from an Arab author. In this book, Afif Al-bahnassi has focused on Arabic art and Arab lands, articulating his biased ideas without historical and scientific documents. He insists on the independence of Islamic art, especially Arab lands, and ignores the effects of Sassanid art and Iranian art on the Islamic art. Defending the truth of some contradictions in the actual world by means of Graham Priest’s views, To Welcome Contradiction written by Rahman Sharifzadeh is rarely problematic in the appearance - i.e in the edition. In addition to some suggestions, we have evaluated the content of the book and criticized the views of the author and/or the dialetheists in some cases. We have shown, for example, that the preface paradox and some borderline cases cannot be regarded as true contradictions. Again, there is no need to accept such counterintuitive affairs as negative facts to believe dialetheism. In evaluating the logic of paradox, we have corrected the truth table for the logical negation and implication: instead of saying t = f, p = p and f = t, we must say: t = f ˅ p, p = t ˅ f and f = t ˅ p; and instead of the truth value of p for t→p, p→p and p→f, we must say: t ˅ f. On the basis of such corrections, the objection to the validity of modus ponens rule in the logic of paradox is answered. All in all, the book is a necessary one in Persian.

The prospect of each literature is not separable from its present and past; because most of the time, the literature of each nation considers the period of time in the past when its development and its essence have been set. We don’t want to discuss the prospect of the contemporary Arabic poetry or that this prospect depends on its past, as a dogma in mind, nor we want to set the definite border on the basis of “only is this”, and “not except this”; because the literature of each generation considers its past generations’ literary and intellectual achievements, yet it understands itself and its times and creates new, vital, and fundamental change and transformation.

History as a science is the outcome of integration of historians and reporting historical facts and includes the present and past time horizons. Present time horizon can be represented through knowledge, insight, historian’s methods and values. In fact, historians owe this not only to the society they live in, but also to the dominant circumstances in world community. Furthermore, if historians storage of knowledge and thought come to realize (are summarized) in their language and literature whether in oral, written or conceptual forms ,and if our understanding of the science of history is dynamic and in accordance with the fluidity of language, and since intellectual and cognitive legacy in every society is crystallized in form of language, translating texts is the only way that makes the connection and understanding of dominant dialogs in the society possible and pave the way for the societies to enjoy the intellectual and cognitive legacy of other societies. In the field of historical knowledge where multiple scientific dialogs and historiography schools have developed, and especially since in the last decades of twenty century when various approaches in the field of methodology and epistemology has become common practice, translating new studies in the field, helps history researchers in using and enjoying other societies legacies and provides means for enhancing the educational value (role) of history. The effective role of translating texts in the field of historical methodology and epistemology in interaction and development of historians’ thoughts and opinions (the interaction between the historians’ thought in the society of the source language and historians’ thought in the target language) as the people who have effective roles in the evolution of history as a science has been discussed in this article.

Comparative literature as an emerging literary field has evolved in the late of nineteenth century and beginning of twentieth century and after the first appearance in France and other European and American countries is now considered as a known and developing field in the Arab countries. Abdolrazagh Hamideh, Ebrahim Salam and Najib AlAghighi each have authored books titled “Al Adab Al Mogharen” for the first time in the Arab world, but none of these books could define the principles of this field – which was the basis of the current French school principles of that time – and give a clear definition of which and present practical comparative examples based on the model until Mohammad Ganimi Helal could define the theoretical principles of the French school and laid the practical and theoretical foundation of the field in the Arab world by his famous book “Al Adab Al Mogharen”. After the fundamental change of attitudes toward the Comparative Literature in the Occident in the recent years, some figures also appeared in the Arab world that demanded change. Abde Aboode is one of such figures. With a new attitude toward the Comparative Literature based on modern criticism and other new approaches, he writes and teaches. The book “Al Adab Almogharen Afagha va Moshkelat” not only does not completely deny the Traditional French School but also sets of for new horizons to Comparative Literature to localize it which are unique in its own right; horizons like: the relation of Arabic literature and globalization, the relation of Arabic literature and the Oriental studies, Arabic language teaching and its relation with the aims of the Comparative Literature and issues like translation and literary reception theory etc. In this paper an effort is made to consider the new horizons in the Comparative Literature and analysis of literary reception theory (as one of the most important horizon) and also some shortcomings of the book about the content and the form are also discussed with a critical view.

This section of economics seeks to provide a framework for explaining whether government should intervene in the economy. It also answers the question of how far the government should play a role in the economy. In the absence of the government, can a market mechanism produce favorable results? Is the availability of appropriate and comprehensive teaching resources a prerequisite for success and high quality education? Efforts to print textbooks in the sector of public economics are necessary, essential, and appreciable. The book of Economics of Public Sector, written by Yadollah Dadgar, is a commendable effort in this field and an endeavor to compensate for the shortage of appropriate teaching resources in economics of the public sector. It has many advantages and strengths, but there are some shortcomings which their elimination can add to the richness of the book's topics. The purpose of this article is to review and evaluate the book and express its strengths and weaknesses in order to increase the efficiency of the book in question.

Obviously, art education has positive and constructive effects for students, so it should not have a subordinate or marginal role in curriculum, and close attention should be paied to it in the educational system of the country. However, over the past few years, some scientific and research efforts have been made to introduce and recognize the status of art education and the need to pay close attention to it in the educational system of the country. Writing a book titled “Art Curriculum and Instruction in Education” is one of these scientific endeavors. In this article, the book has been reviewed and criticized. The strengths and weaknesses of its content and form were also specified. In sum, in terms of the structure and type of organizing the contents, characteristics of writing, the design of the basic issues of art education, explanation of its role and necessity, especially from its cognitive and non-cognitive results, as well as determining the role and place of the main elements of curriculum in art education, this book has necessary strengths. On the other hand, in terms of the number and extent of its repetition and the similarity of its content with some other works of the authors, the vagueness of parts of the content, the use of translated articles and the lack of attention to the realities of art education in the Iranian educational system, this book has some deficiencies. Definitely, the elimination of these disadvantages will increase the effectiveness of this book.
