Public administration studies governments, government institutions, and structures, as well as the actions of individuals in the public sector. Numerous books have been written and translated in the field of public administration. Few of these books have gained legitimacy and acceptance among readers. The book Managerial Movements in Public Sector by Dr. Hasan Danaeefard is one of the most comprehensive books written in the field of public administration and therefore has been considered as a textbook for teaching in public administration courses and the main source of study for the graduate entrance exam for recent years. In this article, the attempt was to review the book in a descriptive-analytical manner, by mentioning the evidence and documents. The book was critiqued from four dimensions: formal, structure, writing and content. According to this, on one hand, the main strengths of the book are the use of credible sources, comprehensiveness and up-to-datedness of the content, accurate citation method, and use of practical examples. On the other hand, this book has also some drawbacks, the most important of which are lack of observance of writing symbols, inconsistency of some sentences, lack of image quality of the cover design and its incompatibility with the subject of the book and lack of structural and content coherence in some sentences. Keywords:

The present book, entitled Qajar Portraits, in the form of a handbook by Julian Raby, a researcher in the field of Islamic Art and former director of the Freer and Sackler Gallery in Washington, was published in continuation of the "Qajar Royal Paintings" exhibition which was held in London in 1999. The author's purpose in writing this book, in addition to introducing the 43 works displayed in the exhibition, is the visual analysis of these works in a socio-historical context. The period intended by Raby in this book is not the whole of the Qajar age, but a century of it, including the beginning of the reign of Fath Ali Shah until the end of the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah (1213-1313 AH). Because from the author's point of view, these two kings had a special place in the development of Visual Arts, or in other words, the Image in the Qajar age. In this study, we also intend to review the method of presenting and examining the visual works mentioned in this book, identify the mental pattern used by Raby in classifying and introducing them, and based on that, his approach to analyze the Visual Arts of the Qajar age, whose works are often created in the context of the artistic main stream of that time, named Royal Portraiture.

The irreplaceable role of literary historians in proving literary events as well as highlighting the role of writers is undeniable. If it cannot be considered the best tool, it can be considered at least one of the bests in expressing and showing the unique role of literature in the construction and social context and cultural development of society. One of the most prolific and insightful works of the talented and insightful writer, Mostafa Shaka'a, is the book “Poetry and Poets in the Abbasi Era” which seems to be very influential and practical due to the author’s critical style. Having skimmed the book, what seemed to be very interesting is that the book's possible shortcomings are outweighed by its strengths. One of the best results of this study is that Shaka'a has played an effective role, by mastering the poetry and poets of this very important period of literature and very deep critique, as well as charting the literary style of some poets who appeared in other similar books, who were showed either very dull no significant in other books. The chapters are also based on this approach of the author and his balances on this approach, also reflect his surrounding knowledge and insight. Perhaps most of his weaknesses have been in forms, and sometimes in concept, such as accusing Abu Nawas of nationalism, which, of course, does not detract from the book’s strengths.

The purpose of this article is to review and critique one of the most important books of Max Scheller called Ressentiment. This research has been done by the descriptive-analytical method. In this book, Scheller introduces ressentiment as well as Nietzsche's view of the issue, which he, under the influence of this famous German philosopher, introduced and expanded the ressentiment concept. According to Max Scheller, the modern world and modernity, wherever it expands, creates a kind of emotional structure where he calls this emotional construction ressentiment. According to him, this feeling appears when the social actor wants to change a social situation, but is not able to do so. The results of the critique and review of this book show that this book, despite some strengths such as notes section, index of subjects, and index of persons at the end of the book provides more information to the reader about the content of the book, it has many defects in the field of form and content, unfortunately. Some of these include lack of footnotes of German and English terms, proper nouns, the lack of a glossary at the end of the book, the existence of typographical errors, use of inaccurate equivalents, and inconsistent use of equivalents.

After establishing Economic Division, through the Iranian Council of Change of Humanities (ICCH), MA educational plan for economics was applied in 2017. Consequently, it was introduced into relevant Iranian universities for executing from 2018. For improving the plan, a few of texts were ordered to outstanding professors to be prepared. The book Islamic Banking written by Nazarpour, M.N. et al. is among the first books published and used as a textbook, and reviewing this work can help to upgrade future quality for others. This essay examined the function of documents in qualitative, analytically descriptive methods within formal as well as content analysis. The results show that the book is edited proportionately and its formal survey is satisfied. The content analysis reveals that the mentioned book is successful to transfer a legal, logical, and a basic understanding about Islamic Banking toward any typical reader; however, the main weaknesses of the text are the limitations of closed economy as well as micro-static approach used in it.

The manager guides the process from the current situation to the desired situation and strives at every moment to create a better future. The past has happened with all its nature and learning, and with all the impact it can have on the future, and no human force can recreate it in a different way, but the future is on its way and an important part of it has to do with what is happening today. This article examines and critiques the book Organizational Change (Themes & Issues) by Jim Grieves, translated by Dr. Parviz Ahmadi and first the book is evaluated in terms of form and then it is considered in terms of content and structure. Also, the book’s expandable points are mentioned to make it richer.

Writing and introducing university resources to improve the academic level of students is one of the most important tasks of university teachers. Meanwhile, disciplines such as handicrafts and Islamic arts, which were approved by the Cultural Revolution Council after the revolution as a discipline appropriate to Iranian-Islamic culture, have felt this shortcoming more than other disciplines of humanities and arts. Over the last two decades, some professors, in sporadic activities without comprehensive supervision, have written educational texts and books to alleviate some of the burden of this problem. In the meantime, scientific critique and analysis of textbooks will be one of the effective ways to guide the writing of authentic, credible and acceptable sources. In this article, an attempt is made to introduce the book "Introduction to Traditional Arts (3)" and to critique it in terms of its formal structure and content analysis. The result of this critical view shows that inattention to new research methods, carelessness in the method of writing, repetition of content based on previous texts and similar sources, and finally a superficial look at concepts that require an approach based on Content analysis, does not place this book for students to use in the field of authoritative academic resources.

Due to the time frame of the so-called contemporary period, the production of abundant poetry and the presence of poets in Arab countries and Arab poets in other countries of the world, it is very difficult to approach contemporary poetry in the form of a book and the template of the thoughts of a research author. Based on his views, contemporary scholar and critic Hassan Ebas has presented some of the approaches of contemporary poetry in the form of a book and has analyzed and criticized those approaches and tried to present most of his critical views in those analyzes. Mention some. In-depth reading of these approaches raises questions such as: Why did the author present these five approaches, and why did each of them have a uniform analysis, and the following sub-headings were not categorized? Undoubtedly, today, the design of contemporary Arabic poetry approaches, considering its breadth, requires a new effort with a new style so that contemporary poetry can be criticized from different dimensions.

"Transcendental Style in Cinema, Ozu, Bresson, Dreyer" by Paul Schrader, the famous American critic, writer, and director, is one of the few books that explores the relationship between cinema, religion, and related elements beyond various fields such as Semiotics. This book was translated in 2003 by Mohammad Gozarabadi in Iran. The second edition of the book that was published in 2018 included the introduction of slow cinema and Schrader's revision of some of the concepts of this style. The importance of this book could be seen in the method of studying and confronting religion and its elements. Using profound philosophical concepts and Christian background, Schrader establishes stylistic stages in which the most important movies could be read and analyzed through them. This style aims to discover the state in which the transcendental and spiritual manner is expressed in cinema. Therefore, firstly the book and the author are introduced and then by considering both editions, all the concepts in the book are discussed and finally the book is criticized from different aspects. The results will demonstrate that the main criticisms on this book can be seen in the levels of method and content.

In this book Plato: Deconstruction of a Philosophical Myth, Shervin Vakili tries to show that the portrait of Plato drawn by the so-called scholars of Plato (both western and Iranian) is verily unreal. In nine sections of this book, Vakili completes a portrait of Plato which lacks ethical and Political vices; a person who learned everything from Persians and turned everywhere against them. Vakili’s Plato is a stony aristocrat, an ambitious treacherous, and deviator of the Persian theoretical and practical teachings. Vakili introduces very historical pieces of evidence from Greek-Persian relations to validate his portrait, but after reading his book, it is not hard to say that he lacks a comprehensive, original, and deep understanding of Plato’s teachings. Most of his comments and analyses are unscholarly, and some are notoriously mistaken. Some critical points have been said here, about this amassed book.
