The purpose of this study was to review the book entitled "The Identity of Religious Science: An Epistemological View in Relation to Religion and Human Sciences" (Bagheri, 2003). In terms of form, the book had the most sought criteria and was therefore desirable. The author, in content, has shown an attempt to achieve a religious model in proving science and paying attention to the experience. However, the book also has some shortcomings, including: 1) neglecting the interactive effect of the senses, wisdom and heart, 2) reduction of reality to evident reality, 3) lack of logical link between ontology, epistemology and methodology, and 4) reducing the sources of knowledge and limiting the criterion of certainty to empirical matters. Given that a) the senses, wisdom, and the intuitive perceptions form knowledge in permanent interaction, b) all human experiences are related to the rational insight and the intuitive belief of the individual that is determined; therefore, it is desirable that Muslim scholars, based on the interaction and coordination between the senses and the mind and the heart, explain the way in which the human perceptual system is manifested, providing criteria for distinguishing correct perception of incorrect perception.

In recent decades, lots of introductory books were written on the subject of Ethics and Morality in English and in other languages as well. These books help students get familiarized with this subject, but most of them are not comprehensive, and they only focus on some issues, especially normative ethics, and on some issues in Applied Ethics. The shortage of good textbook in the philosophy of Ethics and Morality is much more obvious in Persian, and there is no comprehensive book available in the subject that satisfies the academic criteria. One of the introductory books, but comprehensive, is “Ethics: An Introduction to Moral Philosophy” compiled by Noel Stewart. In this book, the main fields of ethics (metaethics, normative ethics, and applied ethics) are discussed. The unique and conspicuous features of this book is its cohesion, comprehensiveness in arguments and discussions, critically assessment of arguments, brevity and clearness. So, it is a comprehensive and cohesive textbook for researchers to use in the field of moral philosophy. In this paper, having introduced the content of the book in detail, the advantages and disadvantages of the book will be studied technically and by content analysis.

The Public Choice School in Economics can be considered as the application of economic analysis in the field of politics, which is just recently opening its way to the country's academic circles. The most important finding of this school is to prove the failure of the government in the market regulation (the absence of a benevolent hand in government). The book [Understanding] Democracy - An Introduction to Public Choice by Patrick Gunning (2003), translated by Hossein Rabiei in 2014, has been marketed by the Economics World Publications. This simple and somewhat comprehensive book addresses both fundamental issues of public choice, such as constitutional economics, and the practical topics of public choice, such as privatization. The main conclusion of the book is that in democratic-based political mechanisms, not only does the government (without arranging institutional setting) fail to solve the market problems, but also these failures are more severe than the market failures. Although not well known in English, this book has an acceptable status among the few Persian books in the field of public choice, which might be the reason beyond the two different translations of the book. However, the current translation has many drawbacks, and its revision and edition are required for next editions.

The book entitled "International Law: From Theory to Practice", written by Dr. Ali Omidi in 2009 and published by Mizan Publications. According to the author himself, it is written as an educational manual and a workbook for preparation to Master’s Entrance Exam of International Law. Such a purpose of writing a manual has influenced the scientific level of the book in such a way that it is far away from an academic textbook containing the accepted standards and criteria which aim to analyze the documented and scientific way the various fields of international law. In addition to some form of lacunae, this work also suffers from significant deficiencies and deficits, including the lack of use of first-hand resources, the lack of a logical and consistent table of contents, inaccuracies in the titles of some chapters, and quantitative non-proportionality between chapters. It is hoped that the respected author in subsequent publications will pay attention to this assessment in order to elevate the scientific level of the book.

The book "A Selection of Masterpieces of Arabic Literature in the First Abbasid Period " written by Mirloohiis one of the works that the writer has selected, and the examples of prose and poetry of the first Abbasid era have been translated and analyzed. The study of the book shows that this work, while having concessions, is free of defects. This essay aims to observe the principles of critique, using a descriptive-analytic method to determine the extent of adherence of the author to the standards and rules of writing the critiques. A careful review of the book suggests that this work has some shortcomings in content and form. Some of the most fundamental of which are as follows: addressing unnecessary topics such as the poet's biography and neglecting some of the essential topics, such as the Abbasid era poetry. There are many typographical errors found in the book that could give the beginners inaccurate information and even mislead the readers.

Critical review of scientific production reveals the weaknesses of the works of the previous works, so we can avoid the shortcomings and strengthen our works.. Therefore, it can be said that achieving the optimum perfection in the development of academic resources is possible only after reviews. The present paper aims to review the book entitled "Egyptian Literature from the Establishment of the Ayyubi State to the Advent of the French Campaign ",written by Abdul Latif Hamza, and published in 2000 by the publication "Egyptian General Institute Forum for the Books" in 293 pages. The results of the critique and review of this book show that this book, despite some strengths such as observance of the rules of writing, the coherence and logical setting of the sections and chapters; unfortunately, it has many defects in the field of form and content. The most important drawbacks of this work include lack of registration of bibliography references and shortages, lack of introduction and closure for the sections and chapters, verbal errors due to non-observance of rules, lexical errors due to non-observance of the rules of conduct, interpretive errors and misunderstandings due to the inappropriate use of words and combinations. But the main drawbacks of the content in this book are repetition of the subject, surreptitious review due to the wide scope of the subject, reliance on compilation and accumulation as a result of the lack of analysis and innovation. It is hoped that the results of this brief review would be useful for the writer and other scholars, and would Lead to scientific promotion.

The critique of the book can be considered as an extension of the writer's efforts in providing research results. Critique is the essence of the research, and this article seeks to review the book "The Seasons of the Transfiguration and Al-Tarib", written by and Egyptian writer and interpreter, Mohammed al-Batal. The book consists of eight chapters that deal with various subjects in the field of translation from Arabic to English and vice versa, and although all of these chapters, are the subject of an article, they are scattered. They are also dedicated to specialty in translation. The area where the author pays more attention to is the field of terminology, which is a large part of the book, and even a chapter of the book forms a small culture of press terminology. Considering that books on translation theory have a relatively long history and even a few books have been published in Arabic, the book "The Fosoolfi al-tarjomah va al- tarib" was expected from Mohammad al-Batal which was published in 2007 to deepen the field of translational studies, but a glance at the book's list of sources suggests that the author has an extensive research effort. He has not done much about translation technology and has written more practical experiences.

For a while I wanted to write a note about the state of literary criticism in our beloved country, and I must thank Mr. Emmarati Moghaddam for providing me with the opportunity to do this by writing "Review and Critique of Muslim Philosophers' Poetic Treatises using Aristotle's Poetry Technique: Translation in Times of Want". But first of all, let me say that this article is not a "response to the criticism of a young and talented scholar", rather a discussion of the "style of criticism" which has become popular in critical writing these days and seems to me to be detrimental to literary criticism; a way part of which is probably related to our generation, and as a teacher of that generation I hold myself responsible and partly to blame for that. Sometimes most critics are middle-aged, sometimes the work of critique is given to the elderly and sometimes younger critics are active. Each of these three situations has its own requirements, benefits, and drawbacks that can be addressed in turn. It seems that in the current situation there are more young, talented and aspiring critics who fortunately enter the field of criticism and theorizing one after another. This situation gives us a clear perspective on literary criticism, provided we are all careful neither to involve into "stagnation and compliment and complacency" nor to fall into the trap of "being uncritical." In the other hand, unlike the masters of the generation before us who often adopting a "strategy of silence" against the criticism of their work, found themselves practically as superior than critics or to be criticized, I think the time of so sacred self-concept and knowing ourselves superior to criticism is over, and by responding to criticism from critics, we can accomplish our task of advancing the process of criticism and possibly directing it. Our response to the criticisms written on our works is, first and foremost, the respect for criticism and, second, for the personality of critic, both of which are useful and have good results. I will try to address some of the objections raised in Mr. Emmarati Moghaddam's article, while criticizing the state of literary criticism in our country.

One of the important and earnest investigations in the field of “study of Molavi”, through the recent decade, is a book named “The Story of the Beloved Ones’ Secret” that emphasizes on Masnavi researching. The secondary title of this book is “Researching the Historical Living and Experiences of Molana in Masnavi”. The book is written by Qodrat-Allah Taheri and published by Elmi Publication (1392 (or 2013)). Emphasizing on three presumptions, this is probably the only book that independently attempts to investigate and analyze the lived experience of Molavi in the most important mystical writing of him. The book considers the story of Masnavi, especially the most leading ones, to be the alternative reflections of Molavi’s states and actions in his real life. To what extent our claim and research objectives are proven and fulfilled regarding the text based evidenced and statistics with an absolute emphasis on Masnavi is an important matter which we reviewed. This article, first, investigated the advantages and unique characteristics of the book in terms of methodology and insight, and second, it focused on the most important challenging features and defects.

As a communicative-epistemological concept, ambiguity is pivotal to any discussion of reading. Due to its roots in different fields of knowledge, as well as its dependence on age, genre, style, etc., ambiguity finds different embodiments in different circumstances. Therefore, it would be very difficult to discuss the concept without delimiting it to specific ages or genres. This paper is a meta-commentary on “The Function of Ambiguity in the Process of Reading Texts” by Forough Sahba. Via her analysis of some modernist and postmodernist narratives, Sahba has argued that despite the theory of the death of the author, modernist and postmodernist uses of ambiguity show the centrality of the author. The book is informative and especially helpful in defining different types of ambiguity. However, it has some shortcomings: it has no literature review; its classifications of ambiguity are not satisfying; and it has a few inconsistencies in its form and content. Moreover, it is based on a contradictory claim.

The content of the book "Dimensions of the Resistance Economics in the Oil Industry" includes the text of the general policies of the resistance economy, the correspondences and statements made in this regard, the history of the oil industry, and the actions taken by the Ministry of Oil in the pursuit of a resistive economy. Meanwhile, an attempt has been made to define a resistance economy in line with Islamic economics although it cannot be proven. The structure of the book is news-based and disquisition-based and has not been used sufficiently from scientific sources. Therefore, there is no analysis of the relationship between the resistance economy and the oil sector. The above work is applicable to general information on resistance policies and some of the Ministry of Oil's programs in this area, and, despite the authors' views, it is not a complete reference in this field. In this regard, it has been attempted to briefly explain the axes related to the crude oil and natural gas sectors in line with the resistance economy and identify the strengths and weaknesses. The analysis included cases to which the book did not refer and could be used as an introduction to future research.

The book "Economics from Another View" by Musa Ghaninezhad is one of the few books written in Farsi in the history of economic thought. This book is written with a mental impact and with a certain intellectual orientation, which is also understandable from its title. The book is dedicated to the thoughts of 19 economists from Thomas Aquino to Douglas North, Coase, and Buchanan. The writer, in accordance with his intellectual spirit, has followed the Austrian school approach, reading the thoughts of these economists and highlighting their contributions and conflicts with this school. The book is more suitable for acquaintances with the economics and the history of economic thought and cannot be regarded as a textbook. At the same time, the author's goal is not to enter into the depths of economic thought, rather than introducing thoughts of unheard economists and their placement in the liberal tent to the audiences. The writer, in introducing the thoughts of famous economists such as Adam Smith, Marx, and Keynes, has value-judgments and he is not successful at assessing the value of their ideas in context of their time and progress of economics. Despite these critiques, the book is an influential text illustrating the views of a large body of influential economists on Iran's economic policy-making.

This article analyzed critical papers related to the political-social issues of Iran. The purpose of the research was to identify the observance level of the fundamentals of criticism and scientific evaluation in critical papers. The method was content analysis, and the statistical population consisted of 123 articles, all critical texts published in various sources over the past three decades and available to researchers. Findings of the research showed that in 56.7% of the critical papers both the strengths and weaknesses of the works have been considered, and in the rest of the papers, only strengths or weaknesses have been considered. Also, in 65.8 percent of the papers, it is focused on the author's critique (positive or negative). In addition, only 14.2% of the papers have been provided with suggestions and solutions to address the shortcomings of the studies. Accordingly, it should be argued that there is still a long way to follow the rules of scientific critique and impartiality and avoidance of biased judgments in the criticism of books related to the political-social changes in Iran and the criticism of other works.

For appraisal of fundamentals of finance and budget (in education sector), the framework of inspection of liberal science texts and books council was used. The results of assessment showed that history of budget in the country, principles, and steps of budget classification and methods of income and expenditure estimate have been explained in details. In some instances, people’s right to oversee government operations as a logic behind budget approval by parliament has been emphasized. The book is readable; the quality of print is relatively suitable, and the text is clear and easy to read for the most parts. Not all chapters include introduction, summary, test, picture, practice (sample) and final conclusion, and only for one chapter, practice (sample) has been presented. Phraseology general principle has not been followed in a section of the book. There is no scientific and literary editing as well. The most important shortcoming of this book is related to its lack of coverage of vast changes (advances) in public accounting systems and public financial statistics which have been used since 2003 which per se makes the majority of book outdated and old. Moreover, many regulations, institutions and methods have changed in government budgeting systems and education sector which are not reflected in this book. The other considerable shortcoming is related to lack of attention to financing education which connects theoretical issues of education economy to practical aspects like fundamentals of finance and budget in education sector. Another problem with the book is overlooking theprocesses and methods of distribution and allocation of credits among regions as well as programs and activities in education sector. Not considering political economy of budgeting as an area that operations take place is another shortcoming. Lack of attention to macroeconomic issues like government’s role in economy, budget deficit, and related views to economic concepts can also be seen. Updating book and discussing education finance issues with distribution of public credits in education sector are also suggested.

The author of the book of Creation in the Holy Quran wrote a case study about the creation of verses with the "School of literary interpretation" method. When facing cosmology theories and in order to get a better understanding of world necessity and show a faithful reaction to scientific success, he compared modern and traditional interpretations. He used author-based hermeneutic method against text-based without following the specific school, so this work opens new horizons in the interpretation issues. Hence, reviewing this work with a critical perspective can help to improve its quality. Using Corpora in Discourse Analysis by Paul Baker is published by Continuum, in 2006 and consists of 207 pages. The book focuses on two main subjects, trying to create a connection between discourse analysis and corpus linguistics. Discourse analysis which is an interdisciplinary field by nature, has recently been the focus of many linguistic studies, especially the ones that are related to sociolinguistics. A corpus is a collection of written or spoken texts that can be used as data in linguistic descriptions and analyses. Analyzing a linguistic corpus which is usually done by computers, can be very comprehensive and can cover a lot of textual facts. The main objective of this book is to show that it is possible to combine a proper analysis of linguistic elements with a socio-critical interpretation of these features. Some of the strong points of the book are as follows: comprehensive account of methodological aspects, using real examples, displaying the procedures using figures and diagrams, and explaining the advantages and disadvantages of the suggested methods. Baker introduces different and various data analysis methods, which can be used in corpus-based discourse analysis. In this article, Using Corpora in Discourse Analysis by Paul Baker is reviewed, and its strong and weak points are discussed

The method used in the review is analytical-descriptive, which involves introducing the book, highlighting its strengths, and discussing its major–and some minor–issues. The results indicate that the book is appropriate in terms of form. However, in terms of content, it displays a lack of order, (overall and partial) incoherence in discussions, and unsystematic emphasis on some viewpoints. Nevertheless, this work is more comprehensive in comparison to a set of selected books that are usually taught in the course “Principles of Economics (2)”.

The Achaemenid period is one of the most important historical periods in Iran. During this period, Cyrus the Great and his successors created the largest centralized state of that era, which despite its great cultural and ethnic diversity, was managed with a very advanced administrative system. Achaemenian commanded their vast territory within their empire centers in Pasargadae, Susa, and Persepolis. With the policy of the tolerance, they were able to unite all these areas together and by allowing the subsidiary nations to preserve their artistic and native culture, Achaemenian imported their own art and culture to these areas, too. This empire was a successful model of a multinational government which included Mesopotamia, Egypt, Caucasus, Asia Minor, and Central Asia and the administrative and artistic structure of the Achaemenian in each of these areas can be explored separately. The book of Mesopotamia and Iran in the Persian Period (Proceeding of a Seminar in memory of Vladimir G. Lukonin) was published in 1997. The translation of this book to Farsi was published by the Organization for Researching and Composing University Textbooks in the Humanities (SAMT) in 1389. Although this book includes valuable information about the Achaemenid period in general, as any other scientific work, there are some shortcomings in this book that are considered in this article. In a general conclusion, the main drawback of this book is the lack of coherence and the lack of relevance of the content of some parts of the book with its title.
