The text linguistics is one of that fields that has had a great impact on Translation Studies. In many definitions, translation has been defined as the replacement of a text in one language by a text in the target language, and a lot of researchers tried to use theories of text linguistics in translational investigation. Accordingly, Yousof Noor Ewath tried in a communicative perspective to provide a short history of text linguistics and translation studies in his book "Elmonnas wa Nazariyat Al-Tarjomah" (The Text Linguistics and Translation Theory) and to explain the relationship between these two fields. So at the end of both book's two chapters, he has raised his theory of these fields and named it: (Nazariyat Al-Enziyahat) the shifts of theory. He recognizes three types of meaning in texts as Obligatory Meaning, Extended Meaning and Accessory Meaning, and based on the quantity of these different meanings in texts, it is divided into three types: Literary texts, non-literary text, and Fuzzy texts or Hybrid texts. In his opinion, with regard to this division and differences between each of these types, an appropriate translational strategy should be chosen. This paper with a descriptive-analytic method tries to review this book and to analyze its appearance and content and to assess the degree of realization of book's goals That are, to write a text linguistic approached introduction to translation studies and also tried to study the compatibility of this work contents with Arabic language and literature field. The most important result of current study is as follows two reasons caused this book not to be a comprehensive introduction to the text linguistics and translation studies: first the book was published long time ago, and secondly, the book has not mentioned all the main tendencies of the two fields and lacks all the necessary topics related to curriculum which prevents this book from being considered as the main source of translation theory courses, but paying attention to the new ideas and a strong theoretical framework can present the innovative research ideas and new thinking way about the translation process.

Along with the growth and advancement of human sciences and knowledge in the Western countries and their followers, new critical approaches have manifested in Arabic culture by various cultural exchanges, and it encourages Arabic critics to take advantage of the latest global critical results. Western criticism has always been gravitated by many adherents who completely ignore their original legacy, but some such as Salah Fazl, an Egyptian well-known researcher and critic, has tried to introduce the results of critical studies and to apply them in all parts of Arabic communities using intellectual and reasonable attitude, and he has scrutinized the old and new Arabic criticism efforts very carefully. In this regard, this paper has explored and studied the book “Minhaj Al-Naghd Al-Moaser” written by Salah Fazl using quantitative and qualitative approaches, and it has evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the content and form of the mentioned work as well. The results of this study have revealed that the mentioned book has not been written in an academic way due to the lack of references and citations, but it has been written in a way that the author calls it “Oral writing”, and the author of this book is influenced by the writing method used by Taha Hossein and Mohammad Mandoor. Therefore, the author has made impressive strides towards the simple andaccurate understanding of the critical content of this book by its addresses.

The critique of the book can be considered as an extension of the writer's efforts in providing research results. Critique is the essence of the research, and this article seeks to review the book "The Seasons of the Transfiguration and Al-Tarib", written by and Egyptian writer and interpreter, Mohammed al-Batal. The book consists of eight chapters that deal with various subjects in the field of translation from Arabic to English and vice versa, and although all of these chapters, are the subject of an article, they are scattered. They are also dedicated to specialty in translation. The area where the author pays more attention to is the field of terminology, which is a large part of the book, and even a chapter of the book forms a small culture of press terminology. Considering that books on translation theory have a relatively long history and even a few books have been published in Arabic, the book "The Fosoolfi al-tarjomah va al- tarib" was expected from Mohammad al-Batal which was published in 2007 to deepen the field of translational studies, but a glance at the book's list of sources suggests that the author has an extensive research effort. He has not done much about translation technology and has written more practical experiences.

The book “Fi al-nass al-adabi: Dirasah uslubiyah ihsaiyah” written by Dr Saad Moslouh and published in 1993, is one of the foremost and significant works in the area of Arabic studies, dealing with statistical stylistics. In the current study, the book was analyzed in terms of form and content. The focus of formal analysis revolved around cover artwork, typography, page layout, and typing errors. The content analysis, on the other hand, incorporated eloquence of expressions, order of the issues, resources, referencing, innovations and analyses and reviews of them. The results of the analyses indicated that since this work has been published almost 20 years ago, it has several deficits in terms of formal features particularly typography and referencing. It should be noted that, in terms of content, despite the novelty of the concepts in the area of Arabic studies, the underlying theoretical issues of the book are mainly adapted from western experts. Thus, it should be considered that the main innovation of the book is adapting the Western concepts and implementation of the related models and patterns in Arabic texts and literature.

The book “Al-nahw Al-asri”(Contemporary Syntax) is a new book on the rules of Syntax and Morphology which according to its author, the method of discussion in this book is new and intelligible, and it is easy to apply. In this book, the Syntax and Morphology of the Arabic Language have been studies entirely, the advantages and disadvantages of the methodology of compilations in the Arabic Syntax have collected, and all the subjects in the Arabic Syntax and Morphology and all their styles have been studied. The book “Contemporary Syntax” is almost comprehensive; however, it lacks References, Verses and Narrations, etc. It has a relatively appropriate teaching method, but since learning the syntactic and morphological rules needs repetition and practice, the lack of practices in this book is one of its disadvantages. Because the presented issues in this book are simple, it is a suitable book for intermediate levels. With respect to some scientific errors in the book, it cannot be regarded as a source for Syntax and Morphology, or as a specialized source. The translation of this book into Persian seems necessary for Arabic Language and Literature. Therefore, the translation of Seyyed Hassan Seyyedi is admirable, but in spite of his great efforts in this path, it seems that his translation has some errors. The present study investigated this translation at two lexical and sentence levels. At last it obtained the results that the translator has committed some errors in selecting equivalences for some of words and expressions. In addition, his radical commitment to the structure of Arabic syntax and also his insufficient knowledge of some theories and ideas of linguistics in translation such as collocation caused that his translation be vague and unclear in some cases.

The results of this review indicate that along with strengths such as proper bookbinding, precise layout and typography, complying with the writing and editing rules, multiple attachments and profiles, appropriate arrangement of the triple chapters, and using numerous and valid references, this book has deficiencies in terms of form and content, the most important of which include: using lexical obscure and ambiguous words, confusion in referencing and the arrangement of references, the broad and repetitive subject of the book, the lack of a methodical introduction and ending to some parts and many chapters, the incomplete arrangement of some chapters, and thus the similarity and even the overlap of the themes of some chapters, using common and cliché titles for the chapters, exaggeration in defending Arabic poetry and literature in the Mamlouki era, and unscientific compliment and praise, some ethnic and religious orientations and biases, lack or weakness of analysis and criticism due to relying on the collection of content from multiple references, and weakness of science innovation and production.

Translation Criticism[WU1] : “The Arabic Textbook for Teaching Translation of Books and Newspaper”[1]The study and criticism of the scientific works lead to the recognition of their characteristics and disadvantages; therefore, it results in avoiding shortcomings and emphasizing on the strong points. Undoubtedly, this will cause to improve the quality of the academic textbooks when the criticism is done clearly and constructively. Accordingly, and based on the request of the Iranian Council for Reviewing Books and Text on Human Sciences, the book titled: “The Arabic Textbook for Teaching Translation of Books and Newspaper” written by Adnan Tahmasebi has been criticized. The results of this study state that this book has some advantages and some disadvantages as well which are studied in the form and content. The advantages include preface, list of content, reliable resources, appropriate equivalences for some political and sport expressions, accuracy and fluency of the translation except in some cases which are discussed in detail. The lack of careful subject division, the shortage of suitable practices, none of notation, typing mistakes, hastiness, and lack of edition are the disadvantages of this book which result in many deficiencies in non-compatibility of the Persian Translation with the Arabic text. Finally, some suggestions are presented for the improvement of this work.[1] “Derâsat manhajiyye fi tarjomate al-sohof wa al-majallât”

Understanding the formation and the stages of progress of Arabic fiction literature and the factors affecting its progress requires detailed and comprehensive research, as its geographical and historical and thematic broadness makes its realization difficult. Therefore, each of the various books written on the subject has met part of the researchers' needs. In the meantime, it is necessary to mention different approaches to criticism in the researchers' analysis, because each of them has sought to adapt his approach in his analysis. Evaluating the al-Revayah al-Arabiah book written by Roger Allen indicated that the author used a historical-criticism approach in editing the book. The political and social situation of Arab countries in the twentieth century was first investigated, and then by presenting fictional examples the author attempted to explain the reading of these texts of situations. The challenge that faces the book is failure to follow a systematic approach in text analysis, which has made this book only partially responsive to the needs of scholars in the field of Arabic novel and therefore it cannot be introduced as a complete reference.
